Donald Trump just nominated Amy Coney Barrett, a radical right-wing judge who will likely stop at nothing to overturn Roe v. Wade and dismantle the Affordable Care Act, to the Supreme Court.
With voting already underway in some states, the GOP's hypocrisy is astounding. Back in 2016, the Republican Party set a precedent that Congress would not vote on a Supreme Court nominee in an election year.
But now that they have their chance to make a lifetime appointment and solidify their dangerous agenda for generations to come, they've thrown their morals out the window. It's alarming.

Amy Coney Barrett would be disastrous for our country. As a doctor, Hiral is extremely concerned with her record of undermining our health care system and threatening women's rights.
One week after the election, the Supreme Court is scheduled to hear a case on the Affordable Care Act. We cannot allow someone so partisan to sit on the highest court in the land and strike down this essential law and protections for folks with pre-existing conditions.
Congress should not advance a Supreme Court nominee, let alone one that would fundamentally shift the balance of power, until the next President and Senate are sworn in.
