Orange County Republicans -

President Trump has just announced his nomination of Judge Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court of the United States.

Barrett is a strong constitutionalist who is more than qualified to be a member of the highest court in the land. Now Senate Republicans have a constitutional duty to nominate and confirm a replacement for Justice Ginsburg.

But Democrats are engaging in a full court press to stop the President from filling the seat. Major left-wing groups are advocating for court-packing, Senate packing, even threatening impeachment...again!

Sadly, it is also very apparent that Senate Democrats intend to attack Judge Barrett for her Catholic faith by attempting to label her as a "religious extremist". No one should be subject to political attacks for their religious beliefs, but as we saw just one year ago there is no depth that Democrats won't delve to impugn the reputation of a judge they dislike.

It is more important now than ever to reelect President Trump, hold the Senate, and win back the House. Democrats cannot get away with these ridiculous threats. We've partnered with the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) to ensure that Judge Barrett receives the confirmation hearing that she has rightfully earned, our Senate remains in Republican control, and that we take back our Congressional seats in Orange County!
