John,

Growing up on the Southwest Side of Chicago, I learned the
values of hard work and service to others, as well as the
importance of using common sense to lead.

As the Representative from Illinois’ 3rd District, I’ve
used these principles -- along with the problem-solving skills I
learned as an engineer -- to address critical issues that
middle-class families in our district are facing every day.

I’m committed to fighting in Congress for our environment,
Medicare, Social Security, helping our veterans and seniors, and
so much more.

Today, I’m asking that you add YOUR VOICE to our campaign.
Will you take just two minutes to complete our 2018 Grassroots
Issues Survey? Your answers are invaluable to our mission.

No one knows this district, its people, or their concerns
the way I do.

I take immense pride in the work my staff and I do to help
constituents and local communities in the 3rd District. My
commitment to the working families here in Illinois is why
they’ve chosen me as their representative in Congress eight
times.

But there’s still so much to be done. I’m more determined
than ever to see that work through.

Most of all, I want our work to be guided by what YOU think
Congress needs to focus on right now. Please click here to let us
know by completing our short issues survey.
