We'll cut straight to it: We're about to ask if you can make a donation to help Amy McGrath defeat Mitch McConnell before our final end-of-quarter FEC deadline at midnight on September 30th.

But first, can you give us a minute to explain why this deadline in particular is so important?

After September 30th, federal election law requires campaigns like ours to pull together a report of how much they've raised and how many people have donated. And those reports become public.

Reporters and political pundits will dig into the reports, and they'll use the numbers they find to judge the size and strength of our grassroots movement. But it's not just reporters who are going to be examining the FEC reports.

Mitch McConnell and his campaign are going to be scouring our numbers to see if he's in as much as danger as the latest polls show he is. The national Democratic party, the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC), and other progressive organizations are going to be looking to see if there is enough grassroots support that they should start prioritizing defeating McConnell as well.

And this is also our last chance to show Amy McGrath that grassroots donors are 100% in and behind her to send Mitch packing.

Our grassroots movement to defeat Mitch McConnell is about to be under a microscope like it's never been before, so we need a show of strength unlike any we've ever had before.

That's why we've set an enormous goal: Raising another $4 million from grassroots donors this month to show reporters, Amy McGrath, the Democratic establishment, and Mitch McConnell that we're all-in to Ditch Mitch.
