Weekend Events

Bernie Sanders National Weekend of Action Canvass
September 7 @ 11:00 am - 2:00 pm

Join Seattle DSA as we knock on doors in Columbia City as part of DSA’s Bernie Sanders 2020 Campaign! Bernie Sanders’s 2020 run offers an unprecedented opportunity for socialists to reach to thousands of people with our politics, build working-class power, and engage in a class-struggle campaign.

We’ll be meeting in the northeast corner of Brighton Playfield for a rap training and debrief. We start off every canvass with a training session and if you’re new to canvassing, we’ll pair you up with an experienced canvasser.

Stick around after canvassing for food and drink and get to know your fellow organizers!

If you have any questions, please send an email to [email protected]. See you there!

Labor for Bernie

The Seattle DSA Union Council invites union members to attend our monthly Labor for Bernie campaign meeting. We will be brainstorming ideas for how to develop strong campaigns within our unions not only to build support for Bernie Sanders and but also for a wider political revolution against the billionaire class. We will also be discussing how to strengthen a left wing of the labor movement here in the Seattle area.
Join us in the meeting room at the Capitol Hill Library Branch on Saturday, September 7th, from 11 AM to 1 PM.

Get Out the Vote for Shaun Scott
September 8 @ 11:00 am - 3:00 pm

Come join us for our third general election canvass for Shaun Scott!
