Judge Barrett was Justice Antonin Scalia’s favorite law clerk and served as a faculty member at Notre Dame’s Law School. Like Justice Scalia, she's an originalist who has been strong on limited government, the Second Amendment, and the Tenth Amendment. She's exactly the kind of judge we should have on the Supreme Court.
Judge Barrett was appointed by President Trump to the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals in 2017 and confirmed by the Senate with the support of every Republican and three Democrats – Senators Joe Manchin (D-WV), Joe Donnelly (D-IN), and Tim Kaine (D-VA).

There is plenty of time for the Senate to confirm Judge Barrett before the election. Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg was confirmed in 42 days, Justice Sandra Day O'Connor was confirmed in 33 days, and Justice John Paul Stevens was confirmed in 19 days.
Now, the Senate must do its job.
