This is what Trump Republican Senator Martha McSally JUST said in a
message to her supporters:

“Whether we have the votes to confirm President Trump’s Supreme Nominee
depends entirely on my race in Arizona.”

And she might be right.

 1. The Arizona Senate race is one of the tightest in the country and
could be THE race that determines control of the U.S. Senate. Democrat
Mark Kelly leads McSally by JUST 1% in the most recent poll! ^[1]

 2. Since McSally was APPOINTED, not elected, this race is technically a
special election … so the winner will be seated soon after the
election is decided, not in 2021 like the winners of other elections
this year. If a Senate vote on Trump’s extreme anti-health care
Supreme Court nominee happens in the “lame duck session” after
Election Day, the winner of the Arizona Senate race could be the
deciding vote!
