PFAW Member,

Trump announced this week that he’d be diverting $3.6 billion from 127
military projects to put towards the construction of 175 miles of his
absurd, racist border wall…

This is money that Congress explicitly decided NOT to appropriate for
Trump’s wall… a usurpation of Congress's powers that Senate Republicans
supported when they voted in favor of Trump’s phony emergency declaration
to build his wall!

But now that enabling of Trump is coming back to bite them, because
Trump’s money-grab is not just defunding vital programs – including taking
$771 million from a program to counter Russian aggression – it’s defunding
programs in these senators’ own states!

And that is going to make Republican senators who are up for reelection
even more vulnerable, so we need to seize on this news to help build
progressive momentum in some of these key Senate races!

We’ve set a goal of raising $10,000 for our Take Back the Senate Fund in
the next 48 hours to respond.

[ [link removed] ]Can you chip in right now to PFAW’s Take Back the Senate Fund to help
flip control of the U.S. Senate and END Mitch McConnell’s disastrous reign
as Majority Leader?>>

We're already seeing how Trump’s continued extremist overreach could be
used against vulnerable Republican senators...

An Army base in Arizona will lose $30 million. Democratic Senate candidate
Mark Kelly wasted no time in calling out top-tier Republican Senate target
Martha McSally for failing “her most basic responsibility to put Arizona
first.” Kelly said that McSally “told Arizonans she had protected funding
for Arizona military bases, and the fact is that she didn't keep her
word.”

Other Republican senators who are up for reelection and voted for Trump’s
sham emergency declaration include:

* Cory Gardner of Colorado, whose state will lose $8 million
* Thom Tillis of North Carolina, whose state will lose $80 million
* John Cornyn of Texas, whose state will lose $48 million
* Lindsey Graham of South Carolina, whose state will lose $11 million
* And the self-proclaimed “Grim Reaper” of the Senate, Moscow Mitch
McConnell himself, whose state of Kentucky will lose a whopping $62
million…

All of these Senate races could be competitive this year – even the ones
in deep red states – and some of them are definitely going to be among the
most tightly contested races and our best opportunities for flipping
Republican seats and changing majority control of the Senate.

We need to use opportunities like this to expose how these GOP senators
continue to sell out their constituents at every turn.
