Hey Swing Left,

In a couple of hours, Trump is going to announce his Supreme Court pick. The current frontrunner, Amy Coney Barrett, has an especially terrible record criticizing Roe v. Wade and the Affordable Care Act. If confirmed, she will likely be one of the most conservative justices on the Court, along with Alito and Thomas.

Here’s the good news: we can make sure Trump loses in 2020, and flip the Senate and key state legislatures so Democrats can make the laws that govern people’s lives, not the GOP. But to do that, we need to channel some serious energy into calling voters this weekend.

So before Trump’s announcement tonight, can you sign up to make 20 calls sometime this weekend? It will take less than an hour of your time. If you’ve already been making calls, we really appreciate it—you’re making a huge difference.

This announcement is going to kick off a long, painful nomination process. GOP senators, the same hypocrites who blocked Obama’s Supreme Court appointment, will probably line up to confirm Trump’s nominee. And it may feel powerless watching McConnell and Trump steal yet another Supreme Court seat.

But we’re not powerless. By calling Democratic voters this weekend, we can make sure Trump and all his co-conspirators in the Senate and state legislatures start paying a huge political price now and lose big in November.

The voters you’ll be calling live in Super States, meaning they could be key Democratic votes at the state legislative, Senate, and presidential level. Every call you make can have triple the impact on this year’s election.

Helping Democrats cast their ballots is one of the best ways we can fight back against Trump and McConnell. Every call you make could be a vote against the GOP in November. So please, make 20 calls this weekend.
