Africa & Europe
- Pray for an advocacy campaign in Ghana that IJM will be doing together with government partners. This campaign is focused on raising awareness that will deter people from engaging in child trafficking. Pray that this campaign would reach the communities that need to hear it, and pray for our partners as they answer any questions and calls they may receive as a result of the campaign.
Latin America
- Praise God for the Dominican Republic police who rescued four women from trafficking. These police units were trained and mentored by IJM DR staff and this rescue shows the training being put into action. Pray for the Dominican authorities to conduct proper follow up and interviews of these women and that the women would feel safe enough to boldly testify against their perpetrators.
South Asia
- Praise God for a brand-new project we just launched with police to protect women and children from violence. This initiative was the idea of one of our police partners, who says she always dreamed of developing a safe community for women and children in her district. Together we will gather data on crimes against vulnerable people, raise awareness, develop focused trainings and promote safe community policing. The project also includes a helpline and social media to help the community get involved. Praise God for this big breakthrough and pray for its potential to keep women and children safe!
Southeast Asia
- Pray for the Global Virtual Summit about Online Sexual Exploitation of Children (OSEC) that is taking place in late November. The purpose will be to gather stakeholders globally who are working on the issue to join together toward an international response to end OSEC. Pray for the right people to be "in the room", and for the policy makers and practitioners who will ultimately be working to protect children. Pray as well for the team organizing the event to be able to make the online event engaging and inspiring for attendees.

Pray for the churches that are hosting Freedom Sunday this month. Many congregations will hear about modern day slavery and IJM for the first time through their church during these events. Pray that God would call His followers to join the fight to end violence against oppressed people — as supporters, donors, advocates and staff.
