Kamala Harris is uniquely qualified to oppose Donald Trump's Supreme Court nominee.

She isn't just a former prosecutor who never backs down from a fight -- Senator Harris also sits on the Senate Judiciary Committee, which oversees and evaluates Supreme Court nominees.

The Associated Press reports Senator Harris could soon have "a massive platform to demonstrate her political skills and articulate the campaign's message that Ginsburg's successor shouldn't be chosen until after the election."

But Republicans don't want Senator Harris on center stage -- they're afraid of the damage she'll do to them. Many conservatives -- including Rush Limbaugh, one of the president's favorite advocates -- are now calling on Republicans in the Senate to skip a confirmation hearing entirely and instead confirm Trump's nominee directly.
