As the beloved Ruth Bader Ginsberg is mourned across the country, Trump and his Senate Republican enablers Mitch McConnell and Lindsey Graham are wasting no time in getting to work to confirm her successor.
The stakes were already high in this year’s election and, almost impossibly – they’ve been heightened even more.
Republicans KNOW the American public don’t want them to rush yet another Supreme Court nominee through just weeks before the 2020 election. New polling out shows that over 60% of voters don’t want a nominee to be confirmed until AFTER the next president has been confirmed – to determine who voters want to select the next Supreme Court justice.
But with Trump’s tanking approval ratings and as he and his senate colleagues continue sinking in the polls, they know this is their last chance. We have to keep up the pressure!
Let RBG’s legacy become our fight.
