Dear John,
As you know, there are a lot of eyes on the U.S. Supreme Court right now, and you’ve probably heard the exciting news that ADF has another case going before the Court! In July, the high court agreed to hear the case of our client, Chike Uzuegbunam.
Cases like Chike’s don’t get to the nation’s highest court overnight. In fact, the overwhelming majority of cases never make it to the nation’s highest court. It’s a long and difficult process to get there.
As ADF Vice President of Appellate Advocacy, I’ve worked with many clients in the appellate court system. And over my career, I’ve had the honor and privilege of arguing more than 30 state supreme court cases and 12 U.S. Supreme Court cases. Most recently, I argued on behalf of our client Tom Rost in the Harris Funeral Homes case.
So, how does a case like Chike’s or Tom’s make it all the way to the Supreme Court?
I recently sat down with the ADF team to answer that very question. You can watch the full video here. |
