Young Democrats,
We only have a few days before ballots go out and people start voting - now's the time to hit the pavement and support our SVYD-endorsed candidates! We have two exciting events coming up this weekend:
- Tomorrow (Saturday) at 10 AM we're walking for Alex Núñez for Mountain View City Council. Meet us at the Panera at 1035 El Monte Ave (near El Camino Real). - On Sunday at 11 AM we're doing a no-contact lit drop for Steven Lee and Raven Malone for Palo Alto City Council. Meet us in front of the Printer's Cafe near Cal Ave and Birch Street. Please bring a face mask and a reusable bag to carry the literature (and a hungry appetite if you wanna stop at the Cal Ave farmers' market beforehand). We'll be joined by our sister clubs Peninsula Young Democrats and the Silicon Valley Asian Pacific American Democratic Club who are also supporting Cari Templeton for City Council and Katie Causey for Palo Alto Unified School District. Both Mountain View and Palo Alto have incredibly important, close races, and we have the power to get our endorsed candidates elected if we show up and do the work.
