I don't want to alarm you -- ok, maybe I do just a little -- but Democrats are currently losing the fundraising battle for down-ballot races in states like Texas and Florida. Part of the reason the NDRC exists is to help close the gap in those races, but we rely on your support to do it.
Thanks to support from this team, we've invested $2.5 million so far in the fight for fair maps in 2020, and we just announced a joint investment in a $1.1 million digital advertising campaign targeting eleven state House districts in Texas. That's a HUGE investment in one of the biggest states in the nation!
But we need to keep making more investments in all of our target states to fight back against the GOP's fundraising machine. They know they're at risk of losing their power to manipulate the maps, and they're going all out to try to keep it.
