Today, I just want to cut through the liberal media and talking head noise with the TRUTH about established precedent surrounding election year vacancies on the Supreme Court.
- There have been 29 presidential election year vacancies, and 29 nominations.
- 19 of these 29 instances occurred when one party held control of White House and Senate. 17 of these 19 nominees were confirmed.
- 10 of these 29 instances occurred when party-control was split. Only 2 of these 10 were confirmed.

Our Constitution and Senate precedent are clear. It is their DUTY.
We need every American to understand this, as the Democrats attempt to fire up the radical Left outrage machine, obstruct the process, and attempt to derail the President’s nominee by any means necessary. We don’t need to look far back to read their playbook.
