I know that my team has been emailing you a fair amount, so I wanted to jump in personally and let you know how much I appreciate having you on my team -- especially during moments like this, when my campaign is under siege from super PACs and special interests.

The thing is, the NRA’s spending against me is personal. My grandfather was shot and killed during a grocery store robbery when my mom was only 10 years old. For that reason, and for the thousands of deaths that occur every year at the hands of gun violence, I’ve long been committed to tackling America’s gun violence crisis.
