Ridding our government of Tina Smith’s voice would be a boon for Washington politicians like Donald Trump and Mitch McConnell. Already, Trump and McConnell have begun politicizing Justice Ginsburg’s passing, calling to ram through whatever likely right-wing conservative for a lifetime appointment.
