‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌Jack,
The New York Times is reporting that Donald Trump has selected his nominee to fill the seat of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg: Judge Amy Coney Barrett.
Judge Barrett has taken the most cruel, far-right position on nearly every contentious case that has come before her. And her nomination to the Supreme Court threatens everything— everything —generations have fought for.
Moreover, her nomination is the product of a corrupt and illegitimate process that undermines the will of the American people. In short? She’s not fit to serve on the Supreme Court.
So here is my promise to you: I will fight this nomination with every bone in my body. And, no matter who sits on the bench, I will never stop fighting for the rights of women, families, the LGBTQ community, for Black and brown lives, and for justice, as long as I serve in the Senate.
If you’re with me, please chip in any amount you can spare today to support my fight in the Senate. I can’t keep up this vital work without your help. [[link removed]]
Now is not the time to despair. It’s time to fight with everything we have. You can make a donation to support this work here: secure.actblue.com/donate/gfs-email [[link removed]]
I promise I’ll have your back. And it means the world to know you have mine.
Thank you,
Kirsten
