With a historic presidential election approaching, every eligible American voter should exercise his or her most basic civil right, the right to a free and fair election. Yet, one in four eligible Americans is not registered to vote, and with many states and counties changing election processes, voters are searching for much-needed information on how to vote this November. This week marked National Voter Registration Day, and True the Vote is empowering all eligible Americans with the information they need to get registered and check to make sure their registration is accurate and active by their state's deadline.

Three To-Dos for Your Voter Registration!

If you're over 18, a citizen, and not yet registered to vote get registered!
If you are registered, go to the Secretary of State's website in your state and check your registration to make sure it's accurate and active!
And, if you've moved recently, go to the Secretary of State website of your former state and check your registration .... Is it still active? If so, contact their office and take the necessary steps to have your registration removed.
