Today Trump announced a new 'executive order' to allegedly
"protect health care access for Americans with preexisting
conditions." This is simply another fraudulent pronouncement from
Don the Con. Not only is an executive order unable to achieve
what he claims, but this is the opposite of everything Trump has
said and done.
Trump's single-minded efforts to destroy the Affordable Care Act
have already hurt millions. In a sharp reversal from 2016, one in
ten Americans -- 29 million people -- were uninsured at the end of
last year, and that was before millions more lost
employer-provided health care when their jobs ended because of
COVID-19.
Now -- just one week after the November 3rd election -- the
Supreme Court is scheduled to hear a Trump Administration
supported case to end the ACA. The Court's decision could plunge
our healthcare system into chaos in the middle of a still-raging
pandemic. Access to care for those with preexisting conditions is
at serious risk, but a Democratic Congress and President could
rescue those protections.
That's why I'm reaching out now -- before the final Federal
Election Commission filing deadline prior to the election -- to
ask you to join this critical fight to take back the Senate and
save the Affordable Care Act.

In the summer of 2017, the Republicans failed BY ONE VOTE in the
Senate to pass the bill to kill the ACA. Now they are trying to
stack the Court to accomplish what they could not do through the
democratic process.
We've stopped their sick attempts to play politics with the
health of Americans before, and we can stop them again if we all
