John,

We know it's Friday night so we'll keep this short. We wanted to update you on some good news and some bad news:

First, the good news: Thousands of North Carolinians have already stepped up to support Roy this month, many for the very first time -- an incredible sign of our momentum!

Now, the bad news: We're facing our $400,000 end-of-quarter goal in less than a week. After refreshing our ActBlue page, we're still behind on where we need to be.

With Trump holding a rally tonight in neighboring Virginia aimed at North Carolina voters and far right dark-money groups spending nearly $10 MILLION dollars on baseless and divisive attack ads against Roy, we need your help to fight back.

Can Roy count on you to rush your first contribution of $25 to help us back on track to hit our deadline before Wednesday night?

We hope everyone is staying safe during this ongoing health emergency. The Cooper Campaign is now working remotely, and we encourage all those who are able to practice social distancing. We've taken the step of cancelling all in-person fundraising for the time being, making grassroots online outreach and fundraising even more critical than before. Roy and the rest of the team will keep working for a more prosperous, better-educated, and healthy North Carolina, and we hope you will stay with us in this fight. Further information on the Coronavirus and our response can be found here.
