Trump will officially announce his nominee to fill Justice Ginsburg’s seat
tomorrow, but CNN is now reporting that his pick is Amy Coney Barrett,
whom Trump had previously appointed to 7th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals.

We know a lot about this nominee. We know she passes Trump's anti-health
care litmus test with flying colors and would surely vote to end
protections for people with preexisting conditions... even in the middle
of a global pandemic. (And the ripping away of millions of Americans’
health care could come soon, as the Supreme Court is set to hear a
challenge to the Affordable Care Act in its upcoming term that starts next
month.)

She’s also a nominee whose confirmation – giving Trump his THIRD Supreme
Court justice and the Far Right a 6-3 majority on the Court – could spell
the end of Roe v. Wade and countless environmental protections, and
imperil voting rights and social safety net programs like Social Security
and Medicare.

Amy Coney Barrett has been the Radical Right’s preferred nominee ever
since she became an appellate court judge and was seen as a contender for
the Supreme Court.

The Far Right will be more fired up than ever to back this nominee …
Anti-choice groups have already launched a “Reverse Roe” tour in Senate
battleground states…

But, with your help, PFAW is fighting back.

We’re already running ads and holding events in Senate battleground
states.

We’re gearing up for an INTENSE fight to defeat Trump’s nominee and defend
RBG’s legacy and focusing our attention on key Republican senators who are

seat before the People have their say in the election, we’re going to save
the future of our Court by VOTING THEM OUT and replacing both this
president and Mitch McConnell’s Senate majority.

Justice Ginsburg’s legacy was about defending Americans’ rights, our
democracy, and the constitutional values that make America America…

President Obama’s legacy was to get health care for tens of millions of
Americans who had previously been uninsured, including millions with
preexisting conditions…

Trump wants HIS legacy to be that he SHREDDED both RBG’s and Obama’s! And
he wants to do it by ramming through a Supreme Court confirmation before
the People have their say and the next president is installed.

Trump and Mitch McConnell have already reshaped our Supreme Court with
Trump’s two confirmed nominees… and Trump has already done so much damage
to our country, dividing Americans at every opportunity, stirring up
racism and hate for his own political gain, and using his office in the
most corrupt ways imaginable to enrich himself and his cronies.

We can’t let his most long-lasting and far-reaching legacy be that he
remade the Supreme Court in his image and laid waste to a century of
American’s hard-won fundamental rights!
