Obernolte “Deliberately Deceives Voters” in Latest Mailer

Jay Obernolte was just caught sending out deceptive mailers to voters in our community. We’ll spare you the link, but the nonpartisan watchdogs at VoteSmart confirm they contain “information he knows to be false” and were sent to “deliberately deceive voters.”

This race was competitive enough with Obernolte funding his campaign to the tune of over $1 million. Now, he’s using that cash to deliberately mislead voters to steal this election. It’s sickening.

John, we’re doing everything in our power to counteract these claims, but these mailers have already gone out across the district. We need immediate support:

In their report, the fact-checkers at VoteSmart add that Obernolte’s tactics are so extreme, they’ve only been seen in .05% of races nationwide.

If there’s one silverlinig, it’s that he’s getting very nervous about the power of our grassroots campaign. He knows he can’t win fair and square, so he’s resorting to false information. This is exactly the type of dirty tactic that voters are sick and tired of seeing from career politicians.
