Yesterday, we broke our campaign’s record for best single day of fundraising AGAIN.

Thanks to leaders like Senators Cory Booker and Brian Schatz shining the spotlight on our race on social media, more than 12,000 grassroots donors chipped in to our campaign yesterday alone. That’s 12,000 people — here in Mississippi and across the country — who believe in Mississippi and believe in our campaign.

The buzz didn’t stop there. We have also received support from Ava DuVernay, Rosario Dawson, and other talented people who know we can win. That’s people power, and with your grassroots support, we can keep up the momentum. I am so, so grateful. [[link removed]]

Finally, our race for U.S. Senate is getting the attention it deserves. Just weeks ago, many thought we didn’t have a chance. Far too often, the South and Black candidates are overlooked.

But folks like you spoke up across the internet and created an undeniable energy, making it clear: We can and we will flip Mississippi, take back our Democratic Senate majority, and win on November 3.

We CAN win this. I wouldn’t ask if it wasn’t important: Will you please chip in $10, or whatever you can, to our campaign? We’re down one point in the polls against Senator Cindy Hyde-Smith, we’re less than 40 days away from Election Day, and we’re only five days away from our most pivotal FEC fundraising deadline yet. Already in the past few days alone, we’ve seen Hyde-Smith come out from hiding to launch her campaign’s first TV ad. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell is using his massive network to fundraise for her, and the Mississippi GOP has already launched ugly attacks against me. This race is heating up, and fast.

That’s why it’s crucial we keep this same energy going from now until Election Day. We simply can’t afford to get comfortable or complacent.

So let’s make these final days really count: Can you rush $10 or any amount that’s in your budget to our campaign before Wednesday’s critical FEC deadline to give us the resources to win this race and flip Mississippi?
