I’m excited to invite you to a virtual meeting NIAC Action is hosting with Senator Mark Warner (D-VA) next Wednesday, September 30 at 5pm EST . This is a special campaign event for the Iranian-American community. It’s free to attend but you must RSVP [[link removed]] to receive a link to the Zoom meeting.
Senator Warner was first elected to the U.S. Senate in 2008 after serving as Virginia's governor, and is the Vice Chair of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence. As the Senator gears up for his reelection campaign, he wants to hear directly from our community and discuss the issues most important to us. This meeting will present the opportunity to engage directly with Senator Warren and ask your questions -- and if you’d like to submit a question ahead of the event, simply respond to this email and we’ll make sure he receives it.
The voices of Iranian Americans matter on the campaign trail just as our votes do at the polls. And now more than ever, our community needs to be heard. Please RSVP today to ensure that happens, and I look forward to seeing you on September 30!
