We’re OUTRAGED.

Trump is threatening to completely undermine our democracy by handpicking a Supreme Court Justice to keep him in power: "I think this will end up in the Supreme Court. And I think it's very important we have nine justices."

Republicans in the Senate are aiding and abetting Trump’s treasonous attack on free and fair elections, the bedrock of our constitutional system. So Now it’s up to Democrats to REFUSE to go along with these sham hearings. That’s why we’re joining with the Patriotic Millionaires to demand real action.

We don’t have to tell you the stakes. Not only is Trump threatening to literally steal the election, his nominee will protect Citizens United and completely undermine our democracy. Everything is at stake from the basic right to vote to our most cherished constitutional rights and liberties.

Sign here if you believe Senate Democrats must use every procedural hurdle possible to delay the nomination, complicate the ordinary business of the Senate to expose the anti-American, anti-democratic hypocrisy at the heart of their strategy, and MOST IMPORTANTLY deny the nominee even the palest coat of legitimacy and permanently discredit them for even agreeing to participate in the process.

To be clear, this process is nothing but a blatant attack on our democracy:  

• Republicans plan to hold hearings scant days before a national election when many Americans have already cast their ballots;

• The majority of Americans voted AGAINST President Trump, he lost the popular vote by 3 million;

• The Republican “majority” in the Senate represents 40 million fewer Americans than the Democratic “minority;"  

• President Trump has stated publicly that he will NOT ACCEPT the results of the election and that he will appoint a judge who will HELP HIM WIN.

These factors combined prove this sham is anti-democratic and anti-American and exposes the irrefutable fact that any nominee who participates is definitionally unfit to serve.
