This Is the Image Many Don’t Want the World to See
By: Jim Daly
Once upon a time, back when tens of thousands of people were permitted to gather together side-by-side, the sound of a baby’s heartbeat and the sight of his tiny pre-born form silenced a crowd gathered in New York City’s Times Square on a sunny Saturday afternoon in May.
It’s been called the “Times Square Miracle” – the culmination of “Alive from New York,” Focus on the Family’s pro-life event in May of last year that featured a live 4D ultrasound broadcast on four jumbotrons in mid-town Manhattan.
The COVID-19 global pandemic has scuttled our plans for a multi-city sequel this year – but we’re still bringing the miracle to the masses of historically unfriendly cable news by broadcasting the image of a pre-born baby on CNN.
CNN’s Chris Cuomo and Don Lemon may deny the humanity and rights of babies inside the womb – but their viewers will still see what they and many others don’t want to admit.
It’s not a blob of tissue.
It’s a baby.

BLM Movement’s Support Diminishing Since June
|
By: Brittany Raymer |
A new report from the highly respected Pew Research group shows that support for the Black Lives Matter (BLM) movement has been on the decline since June.
In May, the death of George Floyd set off protests across the country in support of the BLM movement. It was a term first coined after the death of Trayvon Martin, a 17-year-old black teenager, by George Zimmerman, who was suspicious of the teen’s actions in a Florida neighborhood. Since then, every time a black man or woman dies during an interaction with the police, regardless of whether the reason is justified, the BLM movement is mobilized.
According to the BLM website, “Black Lives Matter Foundation, Inc is a global organization in the US, UK, and Canada, whose mission is to eradicate white supremacy and build local power to intervene in violence inflicted on Black communities by the state and vigilantes.”
The Pew Research report shows that for most Americans, this message is beginning to wear a little thin. |

Meet the Top Three Possible Supreme Court Nominees – All Women |
By: Bruce Hausknecht
|
Following the death of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg last Friday of complications from pancreatic cancer, President Donald Trump confirmed on Monday that he will nominate a woman for the empty slot on the court by the end of this week.
Interviewed on Fox and Friends, the president said he has four, or perhaps five potential nominees he is considering. The president recently referenced three of those he is likely to choose from: Amy Coney Barrett, a judge on the 7th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals; Barbara Lagoa, a judge on the 11th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals; and Allison Jones Rushing, a judge on the 4th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals. All three were appointed to their current positions by President Trump.
Here’s what we know about each of these distinguished jurists. |

|
By: Jeff Johnston |
Focus on the Family’s The Daily Citizen will be posting a Presidential Voter Guide, detailing President Donald Trump’s and former Vice President Joe Biden’s positions on ten key issues.
The voter guide, which goes live on Monday, September 28, looks at where the Republican and Democrat presidential candidates stand on issues related to life, the courts, taxes, the Green New Deal, religious freedom, the electoral college – and more.
Staff members of The Daily Citizen looked for direct quotes from each candidate, and these were drawn from press interviews and briefings, debate transcripts, speeches and Twitter feeds. They also looked at actions taken while in office and position statements on official campaign websites. |

Contrary to the Mainstream Media’s Narrative, Most Americans Support Restrictions on Abortion
|
By: Zachary Mettler
|
Following the death of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, much of our national conversation has turned once again to Roe v. Wade, the 1973 Supreme Court opinion which declared abortion legal throughout the country.
Unlike what you may have heard, the average American supports significant restrictions on abortion.
Now that Roe has reentered the public debate, many articles, tweets and polls have come out showing how most Americans, ostensibly, support keeping Roe v. Wade in place.
For example, Yahoo News published an article on September 20, following Justice Ginsburg’s death, titled, “63% of Americans support Roe v. Wade as fears grow of overruling.” |
