Hi,

Many of you may have already heard the tragic news that Adam Weeks, the Legal Marijuana Now Party Candidate for Congress, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Red Wing this week. Cheryl and I are praying for the Weeks family during this unimaginably difficult time — and we ask that you keep Adam, his mother Mary and all of his friends and loved ones in your hearts.

You may have also heard some confusing reports about what will happen in the race to represent Minnesota’s Second District on November 3rd. At this stage, there are still many outstanding questions. You should continue to vote for the entire ballot, including for this congressional race. I can assure you that I am working tirelessly to get these answers as quickly as possible.

Make no mistake. While we learn more about our path forward, I will continue dedicating all of my energy to fighting on behalf of the hardworking people of Minnesota’s Second Congressional District and working to ensure that they continue to receive the best representation possible in Congress.

There is too much at stake in the next five weeks for us to let up. The future of our health care is on the ballot. Rebuilding an economy that works for every Minnesotan is on the ballot. Medicare and Social Security are on the ballot. A woman’s right to choose is on the ballot. With all of that on the line and more, it is absolutely vital that everyone turns out to vote for Joe Biden, Tina Smith and the full DFL ticket on November 3rd.

I am keeping up the fight. And you should too.

Thank you,

Angie
