Tom has been talking a lot about how the climate crisis is already here. While we are all being affected, pollution and climate change disproportionately impacts communities of color and the poor. Talking about the climate crisis without addressing these inequities prevents us from creating a just and sustainable society for everyone. Battleground states are crucial for a Biden-Harris win in November. If we want to see Biden elected president, then supporting down-ballot races like the ones in North Carolina and Michigan is the best way to help. Local candidates can fight for environmental justice in their communities and also build voter turnout in their district — but they need your support to do that.
