Congressman Crenshaw here,

This week, I highlighted a new plan I am introducing to deliver personalized health care to Americans. I also called on my Democrat colleagues to stop blocking COVID relief for partisan reasons, and talked to an expert about how we can reduce the wildfires that have ignited across the West and hurt our environment.

Please reach out to my offices if you have a concern, want to hear what we’re working on in Congress, or are having trouble with a federal agency. I have a full team in Texas and in the nation's capital ready to assist you. Be sure to stay up to date by following me on TwitterFacebook, and YouTube. Now, let's catch up.

A PLAN FOR PERSONALIZED HEALTH CARE

I am introducing new legislation to expand access to Direct Primary Care. The idea is simple: you should have an affordable monthly fee for a primary-care doctor, without extra charges for visits and without third-party insurance.

Direct Primary Care is a great model for getting all Americans access to primary care, providing choice, and establishing a real doctor-patient relationship at a lower cost.

This is just one step to answer the call for personalized health care. We still have a long way to go to increase the transparency, choice, affordability, and accessibility that patients desire when it comes to their care.

But empowering people with the freedom to choose a doctor they know and trust to provide them with high-quality care will lead to a healthier citizenry and put us on the path to modernized, personal health care for all.

stop playing politics with covid relief

Democrat leaders have repeatedly blocked COVID relief for small businesses, unemployed Americans, and a country still struggling through this pandemic.

Nancy Pelosi continues to block bipartisan measures that would help Americans get back up on their feet, boost our testing initiatives and help our frontline health care workers.

They’ve put partisan politics above helping people and we cannot let this continue.

the truth about wildfires in the west

We have all watched as devastating wildfires have scorched the West and polluted our environment with untold amounts of carbon emissions. So I wanted to talk to an expert about potential solutions to this recurring problem, including a solution that has sparked unnecessary controversy: forest management.

In the aftermath of fires in California and Oregon, Congressman Greg Walden of Oregon’s Second Congressional District joined me to talk about the real benefits of forest management to reduce the size, intensity, and carbon emissions from wildfires in the West. What are the left’s arguments against forest management? How have radical environmental policies disrupted a healthy forest ecosystem? What laws do we need to change to fix the failed forest policies that have led to disastrous forest fires that are also disastrous for our environment?
