-Pebble Mine Executive Hey John, As if we needed another reason not to trust Dan Sullivan, a Pebble Mine executive was caught on tape giving the advice to "leave [Sullivan] alone" and let him "remain quiet" and "ride out the election" -- all so he could push the project through if he's reelected. This is just the latest example of Sullivan misleading voters for his own personal and political gain. Pebble Mine's execs know about it. So why doesn't everyone in Alaska? In public, he took a tepid stance against the Pebble Mine to let Alaskans think he might actually stand up for our environment, economy, and way of life. But in private, he was taking thousands and thousands of dollars from Pebble Mine investors to lay low and help push their dangerous project through. And now, I'm calling on him to own up and return all of his Pebble Mine money. If you're with me, add your name to the petition right now and tell him to stand up for Alaskans, not his special interests. The Pebble Mine, a project being led by an outside, Canadian mining company and special interests, would disrupt the Bristol Bay salmon fishery -- one of the largest and most pristine salmon fisheries in the world -- and threaten the thousands of jobs and billions of dollars in economic activity that depend on it. Scientists at the EPA say it could cause a "complete loss" of the wildlife, but Dan Sullivan is more concerned with filling his special-interest war chest than with protecting the land and people of Alaska. And now, this new hot mic recording proves that Dan Sullivan is the very worst type of politician -- a corporate lackey who says one thing to CEOs and big donors and another to voters. Not me though, John. I'll always tell you where I stand -- and that will always be with and for Alaskans. That's why I'm calling on Dan Sullivan to return every cent of his Pebble Mine money. Add your name beside mine and demand action and accountability right now. Thank you, Dr. Al Gross
