We all believe everyone should have a right to vote, no matter our race, class or gender -- and for that vote to count. But to be honest with you, I’m very worried about what’s going to happen in the next 8 weeks.

Yesterday, President Trump refused to commit to a peaceful transition of power should he lose the election. The President is sowing doubt about the integrity of mail-in voting and inciting racial violence to distract and divide us by age, party, and race.

We don’t know what’s going to happen after the election on November 3rd, but we’re getting prepared. If there is a contested election, Sunrise is developing a plan of action to see through that every vote is counted and the will of the people prevails.

Throughout history, millions of us have united across race and class to fight for fair elections where everyone’s vote counts. We know we can do it again, but we have to prepare now. That’s why I need your sustained support today.
