2020 Policy Forum Educates, Motivates & Activates Over 600 Texans

Our third annual Texas Faith, Family & Freedom Forum this past weekend was a huge success! Over 600 people joined us in-person or online on Friday and Saturday – that’s more than DOUBLE last year – praise God! The two-day forum featured special appearances by Christian singer Matthew West, pro-life leader Abby Johnson, Attorney General Ken Paxton, and more than 30 other dynamic speakers from across the state and nation. Throughout the event, Texans came away educated, motivated, and activated to advance family values across Texas.

We are thankful for all of our attendees, for all of our speakers, and for Great Hills Baptist Church for helping make this event such a great success! We have put together a short highlight reel video from the event that we encourage you to watch. The livestream of both Friday & Saturday is still available on demand for all registered attendees and is still available for a $10 donation. Simply visit the forum registration page here, click the “I can’t make it but I’d like to Donate” button, make a $10 or more donation to support the event, and we will email you the livestream login details.

Why a New Supreme Court Justice MUST Be Confirmed

Late last week, U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg passed away leaving a significant vacancy on the nation’s high court. We continue to pray that God would comfort her family during this time. It is crucial that our country swiftly nominate and confirm a new justice committed to the U.S. Constitution, immediately. President Trump and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell have stated their intentions to fill the seat, and we fully support the decision to move forward, without delay.

Both U.S. Senators from Texas, Ted Cruz and John Cornyn, have supported the decision to fill Justice Ginsburg’s vacancy right now. The stakes for filling the vacancy are incredibly high. We must have a nominee who is a strong constitutionalist with a proven pro-life, pro-religious liberty, and pro-marriage track record. We need a justice who will vote to overturn blatantly unconstitutional decisions, including the pro-abortion Roe v. Wade decision.

SBOE Sex-Ed Victory Recap

Earlier this month, the Texas State Board of Education (SBOE) made significant progress in protecting the education of Texas public school students. The Board took up the topics of High School Science courses and Health standards for K-12 students, which include sex education. The actions by the board are considered a victory due to rejecting an effort by liberals to add the term “social justice” to Science TEKS and the Board affirming abstinence-based sex education while refusing to add pro-LGBT indoctrination into the standards.
