Passing of Ina Schowengert

Ina Schowengert, the widow of Bishop Louis Schowengert, died on September 16. Bishop Schowengert was the founding pastor of Ashland UMC in St. Joseph and went on to be elected bishop. Mrs. Schowengert was residing at Carriage Square Residential Care in St Joseph at the time of her death. No services are being planned at this time.
