Call 888-521-6658 and tell your senators that the Supreme Court is #OurCourt, not Trump’s. The Senate must not consider a replacement for Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg until after the inauguration.

The people need to decide. The next president must nominate Justice Ginsburg’s replacement after the people have spoken. We are a handful of weeks out from November 3, and the election is already fully underway. Early voting has already begun in several states, including my home state of Virginia. Across the nation, voters are fully energized and know what’s at stake.

Please call your senators at 888-521-6658 to demand they fight for #OurCourt and stop Trump’s Supreme Court takeover.

Like you, I am mourning the loss of Justice Ginsburg and outraged at the complicity of senators who support Trump’s outrageous plan to rush through a nominee in the midst of an election he has repeatedly threatened not to recognize. How convenient, then, that he would cement a court with a majority that could affirm his power even if the people of the United States of America do not.

Democracy itself along with civil and human rights are at stake. Trump is expected to make his nominee announcement Saturday – before Justice Ginsburg’s body has even been buried – and in the midst of an election that is already underway. Please call your senators at 888-521-6658 and demand they not allow Trump to pack the Supreme Court.

Justice Ginsburg never gave up, and neither will we.
