John,
One of the reasons I decided to run for governor is because I know this election will be the most consequential of our lifetime. As a sixth generation Montanan, I recognize the threat too many of our current leaders pose to our way of life, and I know the best way to ensure a brighter future for our state is to invest in our children.
That is why I'm proud to support Melissa Romano for State Superintendent of Public Instruction. She has been a public school teacher in Montana for the last 16 years, she is Montana's 2018 Teacher of the Year, a nationally recognized educator, and mom of four. We need an experienced educator at the Office of Public Instruction who understands how their decisions impact our children in their classrooms.
Will you join me in supporting her campaign for state superintendent today?
