Friends,

Per NBC News, President Barack Obama has backed the “Power the Polls” initiative, encouraging young Americans to safeguard our democracy -- and earn some income -- by becoming poll workers this election.

But Obama has previously been criticized by the right for his actions to protect the vote -- Trump advisor Stephen Miller disparaged the former president on Fox and Friends in July, calling his remarks on voter suppression “totally disconnected from reality,” and “scandalously, outrageously false.”

According to Miller, racist voter ID laws are just fine -- and GOP pundits seem to agree, with Tucker Carlson calling Obama a “greasy politician” for calling on Congress to take action on voting rights at Rep. John Lewis’s funeral service. Their comments are beyond despicable, as is the fact that hundreds of thousands of voters had their votes suppressed in 2016. Do you think Obama’s fight to protect our elections is out of line? Tell us:

With less than two months to go before the election, we need to know where YOU stand:
