John,
Earlier this week, Donald Trump said the quiet part out loud and again refused to say he would accept the results of an election in which he lost.
This is nothing new. He refused to say he'd accept the results of the election four years ago. He then refused to admit that he lost the popular vote by almost 3 million votes.
At every turn, Trump and his Republican enablers have tried to sow doubt over the legitimacy of our elections while doing everything in their power to prevent people from voting during a pandemic in which 200,000 of us have already died.
But remember this: Trump doesn't have the final say. We the people do.
We need to mobilize an overwhelming, record turnout of voters to remove Trump from the White House, build a movement big enough to secure that victory, and then win the structural change we need. Will you rush a donation to the Working Families Party's general election GOTV fund? If we hit our $300,000 end-of-quarter goal before next Wednesday, we can pour more resources into scaling up our voter outreach in key battleground states:

Here's how your donation can help make an immediate difference in our work:
In Pennsylvania, early voting begins at locations across Philadelphia next week. In addition to the work we're already doing to restore voter confidence in voting-by-mail, we will also need to make sure that we reach as many low-propensity Black and brown voters as we can and confirm they know where, how, and when to vote.
And in Wisconsin, a federal judge ruled Monday that absentee ballots can be counted up to six days after Election Day as long as they are postmarked by November 3rd. While we will continue to encourage voters to cast and return their ballots as soon as possible, it's important that they have all the facts if they run into any obstacles.
At the end of the day, we can only guarantee an overwhelming turnout if we mobilize enough voters who haven't always felt empowered to participate in elections. That's why in addition to defeating Trump, we're building a long-term vision and plan for winning the transformational change we need in order to create the type of country and world we all want to live in.
But we need your help right now to ensure that our organizing and turnout plan remains capable of meeting the challenges that will continue to come our way. Rush a donation to WFP's general election GOTV fund right now to help us defeat Trump, elect Joe Biden, and build a government that works for the many, not the few.
In solidarity,
Team WFP
