Hi John,
You may have heard of Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe.
She was wrongly convicted of spying and unjustly imprisoned while on holiday in Iran in 2016. She has been in Iran and separated from her family ever since.
Now Iranian authorities have reopened her case and want to put her on trial all over again. We desperately need your help to fight for her freedom.

Her court date has just been postponed with a new date yet to be set.
The UK government must step up their efforts to secure Nazanin’s freedom and bring her safely home. Will you help us fight to get unjustly imprisoned people like Nazanin the freedom they deserve?

Nazanin should not have to face this ordeal again. When she was first detained, she was held in solitary confinement for months. She had no access to a lawyer and was unable to speak to her family.
Since being imprisoned, Nazanin’s physical and mental health has suffered and she has been denied access to healthcare.
We cannot allow this mistreatment to continue. UK ministers must prioritise securing Nazanin’s full and unconditional release. Please donate today to help us increase the pressure on the UK government to do more for Nazanin.

We know the difference Amnesty International can make. We’ve helped over 170 unfairly imprisoned people walk free since 2018.
With your support, we could pressure the UK government to demand the release of Nazanin. And together, we can help reunite Nazanin with her six-year-old daughter Gabriella and her husband Richard, who has campaigned tirelessly for his wife’s release.
Nazanin and her family don’t deserve this. Please help us fight for the freedom of unjustly imprisoned people like Nazanin.
