Dear John,

Pre-debate virtual happy hour:

Join us Tuesday 7:30pm ET!
[[link removed]]

Before the Presidential debate on Tuesday, join us for drinks and music and some
really cool election actions. You bring the drinks. We’ll bring the live music,
inspiration, and fun.

Want to learn how to write “Dump Trump” postcards through the Sunrise Movement?
We’ll tell you how. Want to call voters in North Carolina? We’ll show you what
to do. Along the way, for sixty minutes on Tuesday night, you’ll laugh and tap
your toe and be glad you came.

Join the pre-debate virtual “Happy Hour for the Climate” with the CCAN Action
Fund on Tuesday, September 29 from 7:30-8:30pm ET. Over drinks and music, you’ll
learn great new ways to help Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. And we’ll get you
fired up for the debate!

Last week, the CCAN Action Fund proudly endorsed the Biden-Harris ticket. This
was our first-ever political endorsement. Now we want to partner with you to get
Joe and Kamala elected!

But we want to have fun and build community in the process. So on Tuesday night,
you’ll see a DC comedian take on Trump with some “pandemic humor.” We’ll have a
funny Biden video from the DeMarco family of Maryland. And we’ll feature a New
York stage actor who will inspire us with a sneak preview of an upcoming event.

But the goal of the happy hour is still serious business: Beat Trump and elect
Joe Biden. Which is why we’ll also remind you how to use and share our “Make a
Plan to Vote” tool. You can send it out to all your friends, especially in
battleground states.

RSVP now the pre-debate “Happy Hour for the Climate” with CCAN Action Fund on
Tuesday, September 29 from 7:30-8:30pm ET on Zoom.

But of course this upcoming election is about more than the President. We need a
new US Senate as well if we’re going to save our climate and preserve our shared
values of quality health care, labor union rights, and racial justice.

Which is why CCAN Action Fund has also endorsed two key US Senate candidates
here on the East Coast. We endorse North Carolina Democratic candidate Cal
Cunningham over incumbent Republican Thom Tillis. And in Maine, we endorse
Democrat Sara Gideon over incumbent Republican Senator Susan Collins.

During the happy hour on Tuesday, we’ll make you extra happy by giving you ways
to help the Cunningham and Gideon campaigns.

Join us Tuesday night to learn how to help Joe Biden and Kamala Harris win and
get fired up for the debate!

There are just 39 days before the elections. People are already voting in nine
states, including North Carolina. No one is going to do the hard work for us. WE
have to do it. WE have to be courageous. WE have to organize at an unprecedented
level.

And have fun. See you Tuesday night at 7:30 pm!

Sincerely,

Mike Tidwell
Executive Director
CCAN Action Fund
