1. NC VALUES VOICE: Live with candidate for NC House 103, Bill Brawley, and our NC Values endorsement
Earlier this week we had another episode of “The NC Values Voice”, a weekly 30-minute interview by Executive Director, Tami Fitzgerald, with a special guest. The NC Values Voice aired on Facebook Live and www.ncvalues.org/voice <[link removed]> on Wednesday night at 7:30pm. Our goal with these programs is to inform and motivate our statewide coalition members with current, relevant information.
This week’s episode of The Voice we featured Bill Brawley, Republican candidate for NC House District 103. Bill Brawley is running to get his old seat back in the North Carolina House of Representatives. Bill represented this district for 8 years before losing the seat last election to Rachel Hunt, the daughter of former Democrat Governor Jim Hunt, by 68 votes. The district sits in Mecklenburg County, covering parts of southeast Charlotte, Mint Hill, and Matthews.

2. NC VALUES PAC VIDEO: I Exist—Born Alive Survivor Story
As a society, we cannot condone infanticide in North Carolina. Who wouldn’t protect innocent newborn babies?
Governor Cooper made it clear that he wouldn’t. Governor Cooper said the situation where a baby is actually born during a failed abortion “simply does not exist.” Fortunately, a brave young abortion survivor—a young woman born when her mother attempted to abort her—has stepped forward to tell the truth.

Do you believe we should support a New York-style late term abortion bill as proposed by top N.C. Democrats in the past?

4. DAILY SIGNAL: Trump to Sign ‘Born Alive’ Executive Order to Protect Abortion Survivors
"President Donald Trump announced Wednesday that he will sign an executive order to ensure that babies who are born alive receive proper medical care.
Although the president didn’t go into detail about what the order would do, proposals earlier this year in the House and Senate would require health care professionals to treat a baby born alive after an attempted abortion the same as medical professionals would treat any other newborn.
'I will always defend the sacred right to life,' Trump said in remarks at the 16th annual National Catholic Prayer Breakfast, held virtually this year.
'Today I am announcing that I will be signing the "born alive" executive order to ensure that all precious babies born alive—no matter their circumstances—receive the medical care that they deserve,' the president said. 'This is our sacrosanct moral duty.'"

5. POLITICO: Romney backs vote on Supreme Court nominee clearing way for Trump
"A Baltimore County family is warning other parents after they say police were called to their house over something that happened during a virtual school lesson. The incident is raising concerns over privacy and safety in the era of online learning.
As a Navy veteran with four years of active duty, Courtney Lancaster has extensive knowledge of guns, how to use them and how to store them. . . .
'So, I answered the door. The police officer was, he was very nice. He explained to me that he was coming to address an issue with my son's school,' Courtney told Project Baltimore. 'And then explained to me that he was here to search for weapons, in my home. And I consented to let him in. And then I, unfortunately, stood there and watched police officers enter my 11-year-old son's bedroom.'"

WEEKLY PRAYER: OFFICIALS
LORD, you have instructed us to pray for our governing officials, and we come to you in the spirit of this petition. We pray for our national government and its executive, legislative, and judicial servants. May they indeed be servants unto the people, and govern in a manner that protects liberty and virtue. In the same spirit, we pay for public servants across our state and local governments. May they all heed your mandate in Romans 13:4 to be in positions of authority as "God's servant" and for the "good" of the public. They govern in what we confess are difficult times. Between the COVID-19 pandemic, the civic unrest, the hostile political climate, and the opposition of international opponents such as China, they are much in need of your incalculable wisdom. May they plead with you to give it to them, and may your grace respond in kind.
Protect we, the People, from this virus, and help quicken our social, physical, emotional, and economic recovery.
Amen
Will you chip in $100, $50, $25, or even $10 to help the NC Values Coalition continue to fight for your rights? You can donate by clicking here. <[link removed]>
