I’ll give it to you straight. |
I finalized our budget for the final FEC end-of-quarter deadline coming up on 9/30, but then I heard that my opponent raised $6 MILLION in one weekend following the vacancy on the Supreme Court. |
I had to rip up our budget and start over. |
We are now $1,173,092 behind on our FINAL FEC end-of-quarter goal of the election. |
I understand that’s a lot. That’s why we will do something big and unlock a presidential-sized 8X-MATCH for 30 MINUTES upon hitting a $45,000 goal. |
This is the update that forced us to make drastic last-minute changes to our budget: |
“...In a closely contested race in North Carolina that could tip the balance in the chamber, Cal Cunningham, the Democrat challenging Sen. Thom Tillis, enjoyed a $6 million influx of cash.” Source: New York Times |
You see, our end-of-month and end-of-quarter goals aren’t for show. |
They’re real benchmarks to ensure we have every dollar we need to win this race. |
Right now, we’ve got a long way to go, but if the Democrats can rake in $6 million in a weekend, I’m confident we can hit this $1.1 million budget by 9/30. |
