It's shameful,
More than 200 days before the election in 2016, Sen. Cornyn argued that the American people should have a voice in who would be appointed to a life-long term on the Supreme Court. But now, just 39 days from Election Day 2020, he thinks that he and his Washington cronies should have total control.
He doesn't want the American people to have a voice -- HE wants to be the voice.
Sen. Cornyn has been corrupted by power and influence in Washington. It took him 2 minutes to throw away any remaining integrity he had and fall in line with McConnell. If we can't trust Sen. Cornyn to keep his word on something as important as a lifetime appointment to the highest court in the land, then no wonder we can't trust him to EVER support the interests of Texans.
