Honestly, this couldn’t have come at a better time.

The final FEC end-of-quarter deadline of the election is only days away and there are fewer than six weeks left to re-elect Mikie. But we’ve seen attacks from Washington Republicans and outside groups intensify recently with more than $90 million being spent to defeat Democrats like Mikie.

Washington Republicans want to replace Mikie with a corporate lobbyist who they can count on to fight for their special-interest agenda in Congress. That makes it that much more imperative that we increase our voter outreach efforts and keep our new TV ads up on the air to counter the attacks.
