Hi John -- Checking in this morning regarding tonight’s end-of-week fundraising benchmark. Right now, we’re $7,790 short of our goal, and I won’t beat around the bush: I’m hoping I can count on you to help us finish the week strong. Our September FEC quarterly filing deadline is this coming Wednesday, and hitting tonight’s goal is key to ensuring we don’t have any budget shortfalls.

With the president and his far-right allies targeting suburban districts in swing states, PA-05 is not a safe seat. And as you might already know, I’m up against an opponent hand-picked by Trump. National Republicans are willing to spend massive amounts to stop me from going to Washington to advocate for children and families, but with your help, we’ll defend this seat and our progress.

My team has a voter turnout strategy in place, and I want to make sure they have more than enough resources to ensure every eligible voter in southeast Pennsylvania either goes to the polls or returns their ballot on time.

Winning PA-05 will help us turn Pennsylvania blue again in 2020 -- and I need you with me to make sure that happens.
