Hi there,
The judge Trump once said he was saving for Ruth Bader Ginsburg's Supreme Court vacancy is currently among the frontrunners to fill the late justice's seat.
Judge Amy Coney Barrett trained under Antonin Scalia -- and picked up his views. The Associated Press reports that Barrett, just 48, "has established herself as a reliable conservative on hot-button legal issues from abortion to gun control."
McConnell has already told the president that Barrett is the one Trump should pick to serve on the court for life. Some are celebrating the idea that the Supreme Court would receive its fifth-ever woman justice -- but others are refusing to allow Ruth Bader Ginsburg's seat to be filled by someone so opposed to everything she once stood for.
The choice hasn't been made yet. The seat is still empty. We need to hear from you -- right now:
Do you approve of Judge Amy Coney Barrett?
