Join us for a special virtual edition of our annual celebration and fundraising event from Thursday, November 12 through Sunday, November 15th. [[link removed]] We’re so excited to share the gala with disability community members and allies from across the country and around the world, who usually wouldn’t be able to attend in-person.

We’re happy to announce that Nicole Cliffe will be our Master of Ceremonies!

Nicole Cliffe is a writer and editor. Currently, she writes for Slate’s “Care and Feeding” column. She also co-founded and edited the anthology, humor, and feminist writing website The Toast from 2013 to the site’s closure in 2016. In 2018, The Toast was selected by the Library of Congress for inclusion in its web archives as part of a project to preserve culturally impactful digital work. She has bylines in Slate, SELF, Vulture, ELLE, Catapult and The Guardian, and her debut novel will be available soon. A longtime supporter of ASAN, Nicole is funding our Autism Campus Inclusion program through 2029! [[link removed]] Nicole is autistic and parent to three children, at least one of whom is autistic.

We ask that our gala attendees donate if they are able, but no donation will be required to attend our virtual gala events. Proceeds will support our advocacy work and programs for the coming year, and allow us to continue working to empower disabled people across the country.
