As amusing and ridiculous as Sharpiegate is, there is a serious truth behind it.
Just this week, in the middle of one of the strongest hurricanes on record hitting the Bahamas and heading toward the United States, Trump's latest Secretary of State diverted $3.6 Billion in military and disaster aid funding to begin building the racist, stupid wall.
That's right, the same wall he promised Mexico would pay for.
It's no coincidence to me that Trump would pull this while a hurricane is barreling towards North America. Diverting funding for disaster relief is not funny, it's disgraceful. And the sharpie line Trump drew on the map...guess what? It's illegal. Yet another case of Trump simply thumbing his nose at the rule of law.
I'm running for Congress to hold this president accountable and enact bold new policies for the American people. I need your help to get there.
