John,
We are facing the most important election of our lifetimes -- the future of our democracy is at stake. More than ever before, we need everyone to turn out and vote.
But because of the pandemic, there is a massive shortage of poll workers. And if more people don’t sign up now to help power the polls, many polling stations will be forced to close down. The resulting long voter lines and difficulty getting to faraway polling stations could mean that many people might decide not to bother voting at all.
But with your help, we can fix this. If an army of brave volunteers, who are at low risk for the coronavirus, step-in and staff the nation’s polling stations, we can make sure everyone’s vote is counted.
Will you sign up to volunteer and help power the polls?
Most poll workers are over 60 and at a higher risk of infection, so they aren’t signing up for the job this year. It is up to the younger generations to step-up and do our part to protect our democracy. This is a way to protect the elderly and the future of our country.
November’s election is too important to risk millions of votes not being cast or counted. By volunteering, you will be one of the thousands of courageous poll workers making sure these elections are safe and fair. With so much at stake, there is nothing more important.
Yes, sign me up to help make sure everyone’s vote is counted!
